According to a recent study in Scientific Reports, 10 out of the 16 venues could put players at serious risk of heat stress and dehydration. Houston and Arlington in Texas, along with Monterrey in Mexico, rank as the hottest locations, with estimated temperatures hitting a staggering 49.5°C (121°F) on the Universal Thermal Climate Index (UTCI). Yikes! The research highlights that most venues will experience the highest heat stress levels in the afternoon, between 2 and 5 p.m., while Miami peaks earlier around late morning.

Why the Concern?
